PooL Art Fair is now reviewing applications for the 8th edition of PooL Art Fair New York 2014, slated for may 9, 10 & 11 2014. The show takes place concurrently with Freize and Pulse Art Fairs.

We are pleased to bring the show to the Lower East Side Off Soho Suites. The hotel is located around the corner from the New Museum and in the middle of the most dynamic gallery district in the world. Rivington street alone counts over 10 of the 150 galleries of the lower east side.

PooL's purpose is to create a meeting ground for outstanding artists, contemporary art dealers, artists' agents, galleries, artist' collectives, and non-profit organizations. The fair serves as an invaluable resource for artists to gain visibility form professional in the Art World. Our goal is to help the artists evolve culturally and professionally.

PooL Art Fair

PooL Art Fair was inspired by the french tradition of artists salons initiated by Courbet's Salon des Indépendents. While art fairs multiply worldwide, they remain largely reserved to galleries. Our not-for-profit organisation Frere Independent creates opportunities for artists who are not yet represented by a gallery.

Our opening hours are 3PM to 10PM. This is catered to the needs of the artists. We encourage our exhibitors to use the morning to visit other fairs and exhibitions to meet new people. We stay open late to allow professionals to come after their own exhibitions is over.
