Ovidiu Matei Iancu

Nascut in 1983 la Bucuresti.

Absolvent al Liceului de Coregrafie ‘Floria Capsali’ din Bucuresti in 2002; a beneficiat de o bursa de studii la National Ballet School, Londra - 2001.
Angajat al O.N.B. din 2002; debuteaza in roluri solistice imediat dupa angajare, devenind prim-solist in 2003.

Concursul National ‘Oleg Danovski’, Constanta: III – 1997, II – 1998;
Concursuri Internationale:
III- Nimes, Franta – 1999;
Chausson d’Or – Prix de Neuilly – 2000;
Marele Premiu: Constanta – 2001;
Diploma pentru promovarea imaginii Romaniei in lume a Fundatiei ‘Speranta pentru Romania’ - 2001;
Diploma de excelenta a M.E.N – 2001;
reprezentant al României la Concursul Eurovision – Young Dancers, Amsterdam 2003 – finalist.

National Ballet School in London, UK, 2001.

A member of the Opera ballet company since 2002, he is promoted to principal dancer in 2003.
